1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Job AI Pro website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not use or access the Service.

2. Acceptable Use & Content Ownership

You retain all intellectual property rights in the original CVs, resumes, and text files you upload or paste into the Service. You grant us the license to process this text in real-time through our AI frameworks to generate recommendations, document edits, and interview prep feedback.

You agree not to upload or paste any content that:

• Contains malware, scripts, or other destructive computer code.
• Infringes on the intellectual property, copyright, or privacy rights of any third party.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or deliberately misleading regarding your qualifications.

3. Third-Party AI APIs & Limitation of Liability

The Service leverages third-party artificial intelligence cloud service providers, specifically integrating with the Groq API and the Google Gemini API, to assist in document optimization, keyword matching, cover letter drafting, and STAR mock interviews.

By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Governance of Data Usage: Data submitted to the Service is processed through external third-party APIs (Groq and Google Gemini). All data transmission, storage, retention, and processing are strictly subject to and governed by the privacy policies, terms, and data usage rules of the respective API providers.
• Prohibition of Sensitive Information: You agree not to submit any highly sensitive or confidential information (including financial numbers, Social Security or National Insurance numbers, government IDs, or credentials). Job AI Pro is not responsible for scrubbing sensitive user content prior to API transmission.
• Third-Party Data Breach & Liability Release: Job AI Pro acts solely as an application interface. We are not liable for any data breaches, security incidents, loss of privacy, or data misuse originating from or associated with third-party API providers or transmission over external networks.
• No Employment Guarantees: Generated content, ATS match estimates, and feedback suggestions are recommendations only. Job AI Pro does not guarantee employment offers, interviews, or ATS pass rates.

4. Data Storage, Accounts & Draft Management

When logged in to your Job AI Pro account, your saved document drafts, cover letters, and STAR interview prep sessions are stored securely in our database, allowing you to access and manage your career materials across devices via your Dashboard.

For guest users without an account, draft versions are held locally in your browser's cache (localStorage). Clearing your browser data will clear guest drafts. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Modified terms will be published directly on this page. By continuing to access our website after updates are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
